--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

SooeyHeads constantly proclaim "It's all about contracts," but when they are on the wrong side of a contract they start whining about their rights.

SharingLights, one of Sooey's most wordy posters (he seems to have a thesaurus plugged into what passes for his brain) is about to be evicted from his apartment in New York.

Although the building owner is acting completely within his rights according to the terms of the contract, IT'S NOT FAIR!

Ah, but you forgot one important fact - it's New York City, which in regards to housing is a world unto itself.

May be if SharingLights got off his/her computer, got a job, and paid his/her bills, he/she wouldn't be in this position.

Not really. His building was sold and the new owner decided to not renew the lease.

SharingADimLight just can't understand that, once his lease term is up, he has no inherent, inalienable right to a new lease.

Instead, he is forcing an eviction.
