I am new to this forum and the discussions are very helpful. I currently have a situation regarding my mortgage. My mortgage payment includes the principle, interest, insurance and taxes. This is what my mortgage originated with. My original mortgage company assigned my mortgage to another company. I am making the same payment as the original. I received a notice from the tax assessor's office stating that my tax is dilinquent. The new mortgage company has not made the quarterly tax payment. Now since this tax was covered under the note and the new company is not making payment, isn't this regarded as breach of contract? I look forward to some brotherly and sisterly advice.
