Approch the bank like you would imagin someone from another country would approch them when opening and account.
The banks don't care what you Nationality is.
Also keep in mind, they don't have to do business with you.
If one bank dosn't want to do business with you, take your business else where.
I found that if you are kind to the bank employees, that you will get further with sugar then salt.
Also keep in mind that most bank software is limited, but that these flaws/limitations in the software can be worked around.
Much Love,
Christopher Theodore: Rhodes
P.S.
Since your not a US citizen, what are you?
P.P.S.
I got tired of putting "
of the family of" between my name and the family name. The
custom adopted by many of the sovereigns is to use a ":" to make this distinction.
When one looks at the definition of the "colon", [
:]:
Colon \Co"lon\ (k[=o]"l[o^]n), n. [L. colon, colum, limb,
member, the largest of the intestines, fr. Gr. kw^lon, and in
sense of the intestine, ko`lon: cf. F. colon. Cf. {Colic}.]
1. (Anat.) That part of the large intestines which extends
from the c[ae]cum to the rectum.
Note: [See Illust. of {Digestion}.]
[1913 Webster]
2. (Gram.) A point or character, formed thus [:], used to
separate parts of a sentence that are complete in
themselves and nearly independent, often taking the place
of a conjunction.
[1913 Webster]
... it becomes apparent why this symbol was chosen and is being used to make the seperation between ones Name and their Family name.
It is also known that this is intended to make a clarification between, say for example:
John Henery of the Doe family
and the US person
JOHN HENERY DOE
Keep in mind, in the examples, these styles and/or customs are not what make these 2 entities different.
The legal/lawful difference is not in how the name/title is being written/typed, but in the fact that one is an artificial person or
legal person, and the other is a human being (some call this a
natural person, but
sovereign person would be the proper species/type of
person when addressing one of "We the People").
This custom is being used to serve Notice upon people, clarifying the nature of the Character of the named party to which one is refering in written documents.
It is a similar custom to the usage of all CAPS names, this custom (ALL CAPS NAMES) is intended to serve Notice that a
legal person is the nature of the Character of the party as opposed to a
natural person.
PERSON. This word is applied to men, women and children, who are called natural persons. In law, man and person are not exactly synonymous terms.
Any human being is a man, whether he be a member of society or not, whatever may be the rank he holds, or whatever may be his age, sex, &c. A person is a man considered according to the rank he holds in society, [The People are sovereign persons] with all the rights to which the place he holds entitles him, and the duties which it imposes. 1 Bouv. Inst. n. 137.
2. It is also used to denote a corporation which is an artificial [legal] person. 1 Bl. Com. 123; 4 Bing. 669; C. 33 Eng. C. L R. 488; Woodes. Lect. 116; Bac. Us. 57; 1 Mod. 164.
THE
LAW OF NATIONS

PRELIMINARIES.
IDEA AND GENERAL PRINCIPLES OF THE LAW OF NATIONS.
....
§ 4. In what light nations or states are to be considered.
Nations being composed of men
naturally free and independent, and who, before the establishment of civil societies, lived together in the
state of nature, —
Nations, or sovereign states, are to be considered as so many free persons living together in the state of nature.
It is a settled point with writers on the
natural law,
that all men inherit from nature a perfect liberty and independence, of which they cannot be deprived without their own consent. In a State, the individual citizens do not enjoy them
fully and absolutely, because they have made a
partial surrender of them to the sovereign. But the body of the nation,
the State, remains absolutely free and independent with respect to all other men, and all
other Nations,
as long as it has not voluntarily submitted to them.
