And monitor the court to make sure there are no actions proceeding against you without your knowledge(even thou the plaintiff is suposed to send you a copy of everything they file with the court, often it doesn't happen which result in a default judgements for the debt attorneys, They do it on purpose. There are good consumer advocate attorneys, you just have to find one. And that takes cash.
