I have heard stories of so-called 'insurance' companies that are really just rip-off's. They have so many 'rules' that when you file a claim they deny it for whatever reason they can come up with. There now seems to be some interest in uncovering this scam(its a scam on top of a scam) at the federqal level. Although I can't remeber which congressman or senator that was discussing this recently.
These insurance shysters will prey on the self employed, people on fixed incomes, or working at a place that does not offer insurance(an example would be those small signs you see put up at freeway off ramps or traffic intersections, to call some phone number for 'affordable health insurance'). I wish you well in your fight! If it even looks like its going to court clear out your bank account, before some slimy debt attorney does.
