Look at the bright side. You can be assured to get your lawful general delivery. Over a decade ago the Postmaster here got so confused as to say we could only use general deliver for 30 days until we got a PO box. Then when we kept going for our general delivery post he offered us free PO boxes...

Go figure.

I think a lot of it has to do with attitude. Police officers jump up and down red-in-the-face about me giving only a Certificate of Search on "David Merrill" from the federal courthouse. They shout that they will arrest me for Failing to Cooperate or Obstructing an Investigation etc. if I do not provide a DOB.

I do not have that Information (for you to use against me).

On one hand, if I am under arrest I have that right, to remain silent. And on the other hand if I am being detained, I have provided truthfully my name on the Certificate of Search. I cooperated. Then on the other hand if I am not being detained, I walk away or in one particular instance because I was waiting for somebody, I just ignored him until he detained me. - I told him if I was not under arrest or detainment I did not want to engage in conversation at all.

Regards,

David Merrill.
