I can see where your getting at in that you might want some type of official filing/documentation, etc. . . in which you can get flagged in the DoC's mainframe so that you're not messed with, but the sad truth is all of the best & even logical & reasonable approaches are being run roughshod by BB(Big brother). The good news is that BB has the onus of proving that you are a U.S. Citizen.
