Different properties have different amounts of debt attached to them. In my case it was about 3x of the current tax bill. Of course the upside is that once that is done, they can't send you any more tax bills.
If there is a way to pay it using paper.. I'm not aware of it. Mine is done, but for future if there is another way.. let us know.
