If you do not reply then you are agreeeing and going into dishonour. The one who leaves the battle first is in dishonour.
There was a comment that this has not been used successfully in court. The UCC is private law. To be used in court you need to find the equivilant statute that is the public version.
You would use the UCC to get a private judgement through a notary that can be used to show the public court that the matter has already been resolved.
Or to avoid court refuse for cause the summons, etc for subject matter jurisdiction.
The letter starting the thread looks good in structure.
