Jesus a jew?

Robert, I don't see how your question or opinion would cause trouble... "useful idiots" .. I like that .. I guess we all fit that description in one way or another.

My statement was based on biblical writings about him studying in the temple, etc. The gospels seem to indicate he participated in Jewish rituals, etc. Jew or Gentile seemed to be the two classes spoken of. Part of the issue of using an english translated cannonized Bible. To me, New Testiment writings are taken with a grain of salt due to the questionable nature of them... after all Paul killed christians before his "conversion".

Like you.. It doesn't matter one way or the other. I guess technically according to John 2:13-16 .. he (Jesus) was in opposition of the money changers.

I guess the point I was trying to put across in my response to the original post is that "labels" put on people should not automatically stereotype them as being a certain type of person. It seems labels and stereotypes have been used for eons to create conflict. I believe that most individuals and families universally just want to live happy and fruitful lives no matter what label has been placed on them. We have all been corrupted by our parents and grandparents in some manner.

Me personally.. I consider myself a Christian but I do not attend any organized churchs. I celebrate the Sabbath day on Saturday and remember his (Jesus) sacrifice on Nisan 15 each year but do not celebrate any of the other "popular" christianized pagen holidays or rituals.

..J
