It has been my experience that the majority, if not the vast majority, of people aren't really dumb and not that much brain-washed. It's more as they've been conditioned (a kind of brain-washing I guess you can say) to believe that if they will just play along with whatever the dominate societal belief is, no matter if it's right or wrong just as long as you pretend it's right, everything will be alright.

It's like the masses has been meticulously conditioned to be ostriches and whenever there's some troubling societal condition, they are to, figuratively, stick their head in the ground and pretend they don't see it. That its not really there.

The vast majority, if not all, of the people I argue with about 9/11 being an inside job deep down knows its true. Or, at least, knows there alot of b***s*** to the official story. I can tell it in the way they frame their argument, the expression on their face, the look in their eyes, the fake laughter, all of that. They really know the deal, they're just too scared to face the reality of it. While at the same time hate your guts for having the spine to stand up to the lies. Believe me, I've been through the vehement attacks (no martyrism brag, just facts).

A couple of years ago I came upon this post that really hit home for me.

Wonder Why Most People Don't Want to Hear What You Have to Say?

"Most people prefer to believe their leaders are just and fair even in the face of evidence to the contrary, because ONCE A CITIZEN ACKNOWLEDGES that the government under which they live is LYING AND CORRUPT, the CITIZEN HAS TO CHOOSE WHAT HE OR SHE WILL DO ABOUT IT.

To take action in the face of a corrupt government entails risks of harm to life and loved ones. To choose to do nothing is to surrender one's self-image of standing for principles. MOST PEOPLE DO NOT HAVE THE COURAGE TO FACE THAT CHOICE. Hence, most propaganda is not designed to fool the critical thinker but only to give MORAL COWARDS an excuse not to think at all."
