What do you think about the pegged currencies of the OPEC being switched from US Dollar to Euro? When that goes through, the price of OPEC crude will skyrocket because their currency is pegged to the stronger Euro so it will cost us more US dollars to buy that same barrel of crude.. and then they will take those inflated dollars and buy our grain which they will then sell at a profit based on the Euro...

Is that a scam or what? I'm not a terrorist or violent person by nature.. but Tim McVeigh had a point when he stated that the Militia movement missed a golden opportunity after his little stunt in '95. He was "hoping" that would spark a revolution. I'm not endorsing wack jobs like that ... but more people in the WORLD need to wake up and smell the coffee before it's too late. 'Ole Unabomber Ted Kaczynski also has some great points about technology being an enabling factor in the corruption of society.. he just took a strange and violent route to express his opinion.

If enough people would wake up and take the Ghandi approach... just stop participating and stop supporting and the powers that be will collapse.

Hence the reason I've been working on energy and sustanance independence for years now. My neighbors all thought I was a wack job .. making my own fuel, growing my own food, cutting my own lumber, putting up windmills .. till the price of fuel doubled... now their coming to me on how to convert their cars and furnaces. I can't change the world for everyone, only myself.

And on global warming.. I'm on the fence on that one... it's freaking snowing like mad here.. on this first day of spring. 105"+ this year so far... "above average"... But you still can't ignore the fact that 1250 square miles of anartica just dissapeared in less than 3 weeks in '03. The earth and nature will go on.. with our without us.
