I don't know that history will judge his actions as being altogether that strange or violent. Depends on who wins the upcoming "war", I suppose. Certainly he rained far less death, destruction and devastation on earth than Bush, or Monsanto, or even your average Congressman, does from 9-5 day and in and day out, and what violence he did exact was done w/ what, to him at least, was a noble purpose.

I've heard rumors from fairly reliable sources that he was actually a very high-ranking CIA asset who simply decided to "go off the reservation," so to speak. Hence why he was so difficult to catch: he was trained by the very best in the field.
