Medical Mal? or other?

My plight starts when I went to get a stress test as my doctor thought at my age I needed to get one (early 40s). I had the test done and was told my cholesterol and triglycerides were high and that I should exercise, quit smoking, and take 4000mg of fish oil a day or a medication called Lovaza. The doctor then ordered me to go to another one of their offices to have more testing done and a nuclear stress test, an ABI (ankle brachicardia index), and a heart sonogram. I was then immediately told that I should have another test done on my legs and that I needed to come back the very next day. I did so and was told I had 50%-80% blockage in my left leg. Needless to say, yes my legs were bothering me by now after all the minipulating and walking and moving in all sorts of positions. I was then called the next day and told that I was to be set with an appointment with another doctor and when called for that appointment again I was told about the blockages. Meanwhile I am very anxietal and do take medication for this. I met with this particular doctor who gave me yet another EKG and felt my ankle pressure, knee pressure and groin pressures and stated, there is a huge drop in pressure between your left and right leg (worst being the left). He said then he was setting me for an appointment to go to the hospital for a peripheral angiography which included putting 2 stents in my leg and possibly one in my stomach area prior to the branching of the common iliac. He asked me if there was anything he needed to know about me and I exclaimed yes, I have high anxiety and am scared to death. He gave me my paperwork and told me to see the appointment desk. The surgery was set for March 19, this past week. I went into the hospital and ws told the doctor would give me anesthetic which would put me into a twightlight and then he would numb my leg...well my leg was never numb until it was just about over with and believe me it was painful but the doctor didn't care he just kept on...finding nothing wrong and complaining about it. He then basically threw me out of the operating room and said to me that he didn't know why he couldn't find anything and to come see him in two weeks and he would decide what else he would do. I'm fearful of these offices now and am still having burning and weakness in my legs which I didn't have prior to this procedure. I spoke with one lawyer and he said just write them a letter asking them to write off any charges, copays, etc. that I had incurred that there was no damage done that he was hearing. I'm still not so certain of that as I stated I still have burning and weakness. Any advice would be more than welcome at this point. Thank you and Happy Easter all!
