Practice..

Doctors "practice medicine" ... basically they don't know what the %#@! they are doing... but they have a license from the state that says they can gamble with your health.

About 10 years back my wife had some routine tests done and they claimed one of her kidneys was failing and needed to be removed. We got 3 opinions from referred urioligists that claimed the same thing.. then a 4th opinion from a neprhologist that we reasearched and he was horrified that the other 3 docs would even suggest such a thing based on his findings.

We still had to co-pay for all the visits for the bad advice... it's a scam. Any time a doc tells you that something is wrong with you ... use the internet and learn as much as you can about what they claim and make informed decisions about your own body... docs are crackpot, licensed drug dealers.

Herbal health and natural foods are the way to go. As far as my wife goes.. she recently had a kidney function test done by another neproloigist to benchmark the test that was done 10 years ago... and lo and behold it had improved.

I went to a Chinese accupuncture doc once and he told me that western docs don't like to cure people.. only treat symptoms. One visit to him @ $35 cured a back problem that was being treated for over 2 years .. due to an auto accident and covered under insurance. So I guess he had a good point.. over $40K and 2 years to western medicine to treat my symptoms and $35 and an hour to cure it by eastern doc.

Try a few ambulance chaser attorneys that give free consultations and maybe you will find one to file a case on consignment. Other than that a letter would most likely fall on deaf ears and to hire an attorney to take the suit it would potentially cost more than the bill. (You would still have to pay if you loose.. another scam job) If an ambulance chaser feels you have a good case.. they will take it and split the winnings as their only fee.
