Considering that the primary evidence (films and videos of the towers before, during and after their collapse) and the so-called experts are non-governmental, it would be unlikely that the govt could successfully raise the secrecy privilege if they were brought into the litigation. The insuance companies, even with millions of dollars at stake, did not even attempt to interpose a defense based on an inside-job theory. This is a clear indication that they were aware that, despite the enormous amount of money at issue, such a defense argument would have been totally unsuccessful, not even getting a
compromise in the claims.
