The judgement was awarded to them in Aug of 2004. I was never noticed or served but I believe my time to respond has passed. I stayed off the "record" for a while and they finally caught up with me 3 months ago, Jan 08. They froze a bank account of mine and took $1300 from my account which was actually a joint account of a family member. My name was just added to the account. I guess they didn't persue wage garnishment due to the fact that at the time, the company I was working for in Atlanta, HR/Payroll was out of Louisville, KY. So the garnishment says the Garnishee is Wachovia Bank. So I'm assuming since, I've been laid off, not using that account anymore, they would have to get another garnishment judgement to garnish my upcoming job with the school system. Correct?
