They told us they had to talk to us about our plan and had to call the "would be" delivering doctor(even though we never intended on going to the hospital). They called the doctor over the speaker phone and had her tell us that it is NOT their policy to deliver ******lly after a woman had a previous c-section and that we should start looking for another medical facility or hospital that would support our decision. She basically told us that they would not help us if in fact there was a emergency and we had to go to the hospital. So my question is does anyone know or could anyone point us in the right direction to the specific laws in NYS pertaining to home birth.
Can it be legal for the doctor to tell us that she would not help us?
Does anyone know if it is illegal to have a pre meditated home birth?
Thank you all for your continued help!!

Have you tried asking some local churches who may have some connections? Also, do you plan on getting your kid a birth certificate? I have heard bad things about getting a BC so be careful dude, if you want a record of the birth, maybe a religious certificate of some sort might help, take care...
