I do not know of the legal ramnifications of recording your court session, but I <u>did</u> and the bailiff never said anything to me. Now he saw it but he did not check it and I left it recording in my briefcase during the trial so maybe it simply was not noticed.



I LOVE the idea of installing camera's and at least a voice recorder in your car! I work at an Audio/Video shop and it can be done, for a price. You could even rig it to a toggle switch to activate it only when needed. But at that point you would need to disclose to the Officer that your business was being recorded as evidence for your defense. I would suggest TWO camera's also, just in case your cop is not honest and decides to disable one. (one visible and one concealed)



My experience with filing paperwork is this: I took all my filings, had them notarized by the Judge's personal notary, went to the C. O. C. and had each of them stamped and copied there, at $1.00 per page. That gave me copys of all my stamped, notarized and filed paperwork. I did not have the opportunity to benefit by any of them however, so I cannot testify to the validity of that procedure. My states statutes do include those statutes which deal with the differences between the original and the copy. (just in case the court loses the original). You may want to check out your states Rules of Evidence to see.



I definitely think we should focus our energies on this thread. I like the idea of posting a number of pre-trial motions and affidavits to initiate the defense procedure.
