I'm from NJ and i know exactly what you are going through.& If I had known then, what I know now...the first thing I would ask is for them to prove jurisdiction before anything else.& First they must have subject matter jurisdiction before proceding.& Secondly, (if they can even make it this far) I would ask them to verfiy the complaint.& There seems to be a conflict of interest if the officer can generate income for the state while he is in office.& who can verify this complaint?& the same officer that wrote the complaint?& How can he complain, log the complaint, cite you the ticket&and be a witness for the state? think about it.
