How can anyone be considered "trustworthy" unless someone had first stepped out in faith and "trusted" the person regarding some prior issue while the integrity of the person in question was yet unproven?
It would seem to me that an extension of "faith" is required before trustworthiness can be established. I know also that God works this way in my life as well. He continues to "prove" Himself to me, therefore, I continue to trust Him in greater and greater degrees. This allows my "faith" to grow. However, I had to trust Him first and allow Him to "prove" Himself.
