That "Uptown Girl" was 1983, also.

During my testosterone overflowed teen years, Pat was the "Rock Babe".

To go from anthems like "Promises in the Dark" or "Hell is for Children" to "Love is a Battlefield" was a HUGE disappointment.

Then from "Love is a Battlefield" to "We Belong" a few years later was like going from bad to worse.

Pathetic

And don't forget about "Hit Me With Your Best Shot". Killer tune with a great guitar solo.
