Talking Lemon is not acid

Many don't know this about lemon juice. It turns into an alk. element whithin the body. My elders drink lemon juice with olive oil first thing in the morning, a few minutes before breakfast. They say it helps to keep an stone free gall bladder. Sometimes, if they suspect kidney stones, they place an egg within an small glass and cover it with lemon juice. The juice then, takes the calcium out of the egg shelf. After a few hours they remove the egg(within its membrane) and drink a tablespoon of that resulting juice nmixed with water, for a 5 or 7 days.

My ascendants also have these "crazy" ideas: To loose fat you eat fat (olive oil and its family are my eternal companion) To take salt out (lower blood presure or fight fluid retention) you have some sea salt.

I remember I had some argument with my parents when I was little about this since I did not understand it (still don't understand it). They said: "Have you notice that people drink beer and eat salty food when they are at the beach? Why do they eat and drink salty things when the sea air is also salty? do you feel like eating something sweet when you go to the beach, do you?" End of argument.

Premise being, you consume the like to take the like out. Crazy! But, in my ancestors place, people live past 100's , like in some oher oriental country. There are onlt 2 countries with that long life spam.

In sum, we don't know too much about nutrition as we believe we know.
