Actually, cancer tumors create the acidic environment around themselves. Cancer cells are normal cells that have lost their ability to oxidize sugar to make their food. Instead, they switch over to a more primative state and ferment the sugar instead. The problem here is that fermentation is very inefficient for creating energy and produces waste products such as Lactic Acid. Cancer tumors are always full of Lactic Acid.
Lactic acid is also formed by your muscles during anaerobic resparation. Meaning that your muscles are performing work in the absence of oxygen, usually due to being over worked or out of shape.
Another problem with cancer cells is that they loose their ability to differentiate. For example, if the cell was once a liver cell, it ceases to be a liver cell and just goes off on it's own as a cell with no real purpose anymore except to reproduce other cancer cells.
HB, thanks for the info on the tooth ache. It's strange really....I have been having a problem with this very thing for about a week now. I have been looking around for a dentist but haven't made up my mind yet.
It's my top right wisdom tooth that is causing the problem. Stupid things. Why can't they come it right? All the other teeth are fine but they gotta go their own way.
