Re:Howdy All - Part 2

Well, you're welcome, but the gratitude comes from people like me.& As I've said before, much of what y'all discuss here is relatively new stuff to me, but I've been battling these agents for over four years.

Here's what my experience has taught me:

1) Stick to the basics (at least until you're absolutely comfortable with more "advanced tactics," which are the things I'm learning here....). Basics are: "Admit nothing. (Jerseee's "don't argue.") &Demand proof of alleged&debt, proof of authority to collect alleged debt, and verification of alleged debt."

2) Make timely replies. Remember, through your letters, placed into THEIR possession, you're building a good-faith defense that THEY must introduce as evidence, on your behalf, if THEY pursue the matter. Never forget that he who takes it to court has the burden of proof.

3) Be nice.&

There's lots of folks out there doing what's going on here, but I've not found a more civil and decent, and knowledgable, and helpful, group of people yet.& What y'all have done here is vital.

Thanks for letting me hang around.

Randy
