I noticed on the 1000 dollar bill in 1934, the Fed Reserve note states that it is legal tender for all debts(like our notes say today) BUT it says "in lawful money" - something that our notes do NOT include today.
I wonder why ole Grover Cleveland got to get his mug on that big one.
