Thanks for the info on Dave Champion. I had been exchanging emails with him concerning which employers he has successfully stopped withholding. Failing at getting an employer to stop withholding is one thing, but not providing a service as promised is another.

That was me who posted this comment. I had been lurking around Pete Hendrickson's forum trying to get a feel for his "CTC" process and when the subject of withholding came up, I mentioned Dave Champion who allegedly deals with employer withholding issues. I had exchanged a few emails with Dave asking him about his degree of success concerning getting employers to stop withholding.
He basically told me that as the size of the company goes down, the chances of stopping the withholding go up. I then asked him about some specific companies that I could potentially work for in my particular field, but he didn't elaborate any further.
I did ask him about ADP, since they seem to be processing a lot of companies' payrolls these days (I used to work for a company that used ADP), and he said at first they will claim they can't or won't stop withholding, but will do so when you confront them with the law. So if anyone on this forum is currently working for a company that uses ADP, you may be in luck.
