I agree with you DMB. I think that they "powers that be" are in a concerted effort to control the world through economics and eroding all of our God-given rights. And I firmly believe that all of the military base closings is an effort to free up space to start putting people "so they can protect them better." Ready made concentration camps. And take a guess at who will be the first ones to be "done away with"? I know I have become paranoid, and I used to be a very trusting person. I really believed that my governent had "my" best interests at heart, and that certain things "had to be endured" for the "good of the many".
What scares me is the way that most people look at the current trends as "good" things. Like going to a cashless society-what a convenience! Don't have to worry about anybody stealing your money anymore! My father thinks that it is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Or the ever-increasing invasion into our privacy and so many people say "it makes me feel safer!" The brain-washing is very effective.

Have you ever read the Illuminati Protocols, and how about the communist manifesto. Back in the 50s ad 60s the John Birch society was trying to wake the people up. The press, the polititions and therefore all the sheep, just accepted that conspiracy theories were for the paranoid and no politically correct citizen would buy anything that looked or sounded like one. Including the police action, (Korea, Vietnam, the Kennedy assasinations, Afganistan,Grenada, Iraq, Oklahoma City, NY City, The CFR, the Bilderbers
