Heard it on Arutz Sheva. A lot of numbers have been tossed around though. The businesses, from what I've heard are getting much less than that, some nothing. The deal with selling the greenhouses was, if I remember correctly, 20% of what they're worth. Doesn't pay to be a successful businessman I guess, not if you're Jewish and live in the wrong part of Eretz Israel, which seems to be a lot of land these days. The International Version of the JPost says there is a lot of negotiating going on, and people are seriously considering going back to the '67 borders...otherwise known as Aushwitz borders. That would mean giving up the Golan as well. There may be some "generous" concessions in that some of the main settlement blocks around Jerusalem might be "allowed" to be kept intact. It amazes me, the double standards the world imposes on Israel. It amazes me more that Israel allows it over and over and over.

To this guy, Bowman?...yes, we heard. Several times in fact. Maybe Stu doesn't consider your questions very important to answer? Maybe they're not hard questions, just not as relevant to Israeli politics as they are to US politics?
We get the message. You know how to type in LARGE FONTS...so can you drop it already? Man, some people take awhile to catch on. I'm sure you're intentions are good (compensation certainly doesn't make up for being tossed off your land) but it's getting on my nerves already...anyone second that?
If it really outrages you that much Bowman, then complain to the Pres, to Condi, to the Committee on Middle Eastern Affairs, to your Senator, to your Reps, because the United States has a LOT more to do with this than most Americans would care to know. Sharon's arm was probably nearly twisted OFF...I'm sure they were threatened with being turned into another Yugoslavia if they didn't agree to deep withdrawals. I have inside knowledge that the upper echelon of our government's view Israel thusly: They don't give a rat's *** about Israel, that America won't be great without cheap oil, so if Israel's existence gets in the way, then they will make sure Israel is no longer an issue. This person has been told as much in so many words by folks way up in the government. He heard it with his own ears, and he had to sit down for quite some time to collect himself, nearly lost his dinner too. Sad but true.
