I double-triple dog dare you to say that face to face with a Katrina victim and see if you don't get your ass kicked, and hard.
You're just as bad as a religious fanatic who's trying to blame the hurricane victims themselves for pissing-off God with their partying ways, or America for allowing the Jews to leave Gaza, or some other stupid, assinine, INSANE explanation.
Was the gov't's response inept? Sure, at all levels. Was everyone who was warned to get out(for the last 25 years)make an effort to get out? No.
Catastrophy made worse due to apathy? Absolutely.
