Some of you have got it and some are still arguing. Though the actual term "argue" is not being used...long and drawn out letters are exposing your position. Tora's post reply on page one is an example of how Tora read someone's letter and saw the argument. Good job Tora.

Ice's recommendation of obtaining a report first is first and foremost. You have to know what you are demanding verification of. even if you list everything on the report item by item in your letter to the CRAs--you are being specific.

Your letters for certified verification must be brief, concise, precise, non-argumentative and instructional. Do not request that they do their job according to the code. Instruct them on what you want without sounding pushy.

For example, "I need certified verification of the following accounts so that I may satisfy the alleged debts or address the potential fraud. This is in accordance with USC 15, Chp 41, subchp III."

Do you see how that read? It was instructional, brief, concise, precise, and non-argumentative.

This gives them the hint that you know what is up. You may know that the entry is fraudulent and by them verifying it--makes them an accessory. If you prove later that it was fraud and they verified that it wasn't....you got them.

Another thing that my method is accomplishing is a paper trail. You have a paper trail of evidence if you are ever damaged because of the "willful non-compliance" or "negligent" actions of the CRAs. You have proof that you put them on notice of the code and made an attempt to resolve your situation using the code and exhausting your means of remedy through non-judicial avenues.

This method puts you in honor, gives you standing and you can prove your claim. Now you may or may not get the answer you desire because they are not going to just roll over because you figured out the fraud. You must stay the course and gather your evidence.

I know you just want the items removed and go about your life but, they do not want that. So keep your enemies close. this is why I say they are our friends because I keep them closer than my enemies.
