Question To unplug or not unplug....

My boss and I had a rather funny moment this morning.

Needless to say, he thinks I'm nuts with all the stuff I'm wanting to do to "unplug" (disavow my SSN and stop using it, clear up the issue so that I'm a Soverign State Citizen, not a U.S. citizen, etc.). However, I said something that really made him laugh, because this is his position on the whole matter.

When they finally come down with their police state, they won't give a flip if you're a U.S. citizen or a Soverign...we'd all be rounded up and shipped to the "death camps" just the same.

He has a point. So, really, other than being able to assert your rights under the facade of this "legal system" we live in, does "unplugging" really convey any benefits in the end (aside from maybe being harder to find when they try to round up the first batches of people)?

What sayeth the members?
