Re:CRA's have lost it!

I'm having problems with the CRA's too.& They are saying that they have verified things, which I know they haven't.& The next letter that I'm going to snd them I am going to include Black's Law Dictionary- 6th edition definitionwhich says that verification must be an affidavit, sworn oath or deposition to be considered "verification" and request that they send me a copy of the signed affidavit/ sworn oath that they received from the CC company "verifying " that the debt was mine, and I will only given them 30 days- since I'm sure that they already have that on file.& do not let them goad you into agreeing to a dispute form.&Then you have entered into a contract that you don't want. &Keep requesting verification, and at some point&if they keep stalling then I will send them some sort of an affidavit that they will have to sign swearing that the info on my CRA is true and correct, and if they aren't willing to do that, then they will have to remove the questioned items.&

It seems like that everybody is getting different responses.& I've not heard one like yours before.

Remember- hold them to the law.& You are not disputing- you are requesting verification because you haven't been able to get that verification from the CC companies, and they are reporting unverified information on you.& And remember your definition of verification.& Copies of old CC transactions are not "verification". As Jersey would say- Don't argue- but keep hammering.& Don't give in.
