Sec. 1681b. - Permissible purposes of consumer reports
(a) In general
Subject to subsection (c) of this section, any consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer report under the following circumstances and no other:
(2) In accordance with the written instructions of the consumer to whom it relates.
(F) (ii)
to review an account to determine whether the consumer continues to meet the terms of the account.
Hey, Ricky...
I would think if the CRA determines/verifies the "terms of the account," AND your "written instructions" include a "request" for such disclosure, the CRA has no choice but to honor your request.
If that doesn't work, and knowing that the CRAs report everything you submit to the original creditor/debt collector, well, write to the creditor/debt collector and insist that they supply you with the information supplied to them by the CRAs.
