I asked him WHY we were protecting him and his reply was " you are protecting me from the government." He said that (and this was during Bush's FATHER'S PRESIDENCY), that BEFORE the Gulf War, the Bush administration authorized him to give Saddam a 5 billion dollar loan to build up Iraq's military. This was done so that Iraq would have the ability to invade kuwait, in return, the Bush administration tricked Saddam and used that as pretext to attack Iraq. When congress found out about the money coming thru the bush administration, the bank president was told to lie about Bush's knowledge, take the fall (like oliver north), and he wouldnt go to jail. If he refused, well, they would get him, thus, he was in isolation waiting trail. Stop believing the mass deception of the media.
