A friend stated to me the above endorsement was on a cancelled check which when deposited, had no writing or stamp on the back.
The bank apparently saw the need to put writing/stamp on the back and did not contact the depositor in order to get permission to do so.
Anyone know what that endorsement means? I am particularly interested in the "absence.... guaranteed" part.
