OK - Having been mired in the system for nearly 42 years, I am trying to figure out how to start sliding out of sight...
Then I was going to have her open a bank account in her name only with a Visa debit card that I could use when needed.
By no means am I trying to tell you what to do or, even suggest directly because I have a debit/bank card, but based on your opening line, I interpret it that you do not have an account now? if so, would opening one up be a start on sliding out of sight?
I will let other, more seasoned, folks have a go at it.
