have you thought about this...

OK - Having been mired in the system for nearly 42 years, I am trying to figure out how to start sliding out of sight...

First, my wife has not worked now for 8+ years but I had been filing taxes as married / joint like she had "income". This year I am going to leave her off the filing and am researching the CtC (Pete Hendrickson) book for a proper way to file for a refund.
>be careful thats fraud.
>>first how much of your OWN reasearch have you done into this as well as the ctc you talk about? how many weeks months years do you have in the law libary or how much court time you have? these are things that would determin my next step. have you taken any steps to defeat willfulness? is that something you want to do? have you talked to anyone that has done this ctc thing and won? anyone that went to court and stayed out of jail? seen any certified paperwork? ask for these things first before you do anything. draw your next step slowly...

Next I has thinking about deeding the house over to my wife - (she'd get it in a divorce anyway ).
>>not if you fought for yourself, at least try...but as you love her give her the house after you have enough of the quity to get a small rental property to pay back the loan and be your home if the marriage goes south.

Then I was going to have her open a bank account in her name only with a Visa debit card that I could use when needed.
>>then you give absolute power of yourself to another as if you piss her off she may turn your card off...jus something to think about. just because its all good now doesnt mean it will be so next year. better to learn how to open your own bank account AND stay out of their juris while doing so. on the flip side if you and the mussis have to DD, she still has a trail that will lead to you. the bank account they do trace the usage of them cards ya no...

I would trade my current car in for a leased car. (Can't attach a leased car???)
>>now thats a good idea.

Eventually everything would be deeded over / given to a family trust started by my Dad with my wife and I as trustees and the kids as beneficiaries...
>>i have seen this before and it didnt stand, but maybe you will do better. if you do try this one its best to sell the house to another and from the start put the new house in your dads name then do the trust thing. that way your names were never on the deeds may work better in court. only my thoughts
