Quite frankly, for the most part I recommend that one not bother with the credit bureaus for the most part. I do realize that there are those times when one has no other choice but in my way of thinking it is little more than an exercise in futility.
One of the multitude of reasons that I feel that way is that the credit bureaus are like the newscasts on TV. They are there for the sole purpose of reporting events, not to generate those events they report on. In otherwords, they have no original information and in the event that their information does turn out to be originally generated by them then it is most likely to be wrong information.
So in my personal opinion, fooling with them is a waste of time in most cases.
