Re:Text of public law 73-10

Hello everyone,

I was looking at Public Law 73-10 of May 12, 1933&just the other day. HJR -192 is at the end of the Act, Title I-Agricultural Adjustment, (H.R. 3835) Public, No. 10. 73rd Congress regarding the economic emergency. HJR 192 actually repealed some of the wording in the original act.

I have been told that HJR 192 was repealed by Public Law 95-147. When I looked up 95-147 I could find no reference regarding HJR-192 and the fact that it has been repealed. If anyone can find any info on the so-called repeal of HJR-192 please let me know.

I have also been told that due to re-instatement of the gold clause in contracts, that HJR-192 is moot. If anyone can shed light on this as well, please do so. It seems to me, however, that in the public we are not allowed to use gold in payment of debts. I do not see, in light of this fact,&how HJR-192 can be moot, as we are forced to use FRNs, which only increase debt and never eliminate it.

Any thoughts are appreciated.
