At first glance, I couldn't imagine what the hub-bub was about. This chip business has been around for awhile, where have you been? Then I checked the dates from the posts, my bad.

Ice, I'm interested in the video, if you would, please.

mrg, I appreciate teachers who TRY to teach, as there seems to be so few of them around anymore. Most, if not all, have their own (actually the goverments) agenda to shove down the throats of our children. Real problem here is, they believe what they are teaching to be true, math teachers being the exception ('cause you can't change one plus one).

We had tried home schooling for a time. This had been very difficult due to the fact that I am gone alot, and my wife has some health issues. What we found out during that time is, the goverment was using the same (curriclium?) for their over seas personnel. Not that this was good or bad, just odd how they would use the same Christian education as some of the private schools. Private school is where our youngest are now, and shall remain, until I can afford better, or find a home school nanny tyype.

We have horror story after horror story of the way our children were treated while in the confines of these public institutions, from the attempts to remove us (the parents) from ANY knowledge of what was going on inside during the day, to teaching my children the very things I TOLD them not to, since it was not only MY duty, but my God given right. I do not have anything nice to say about public schools, and may never have. Odds and ends, my parents are as liberal as any, I have one sister that is a teacher in the public school (math), and another that is as close to being one as possible with out actually being one.

As for the chip, there was a time when I was traveling with my two youngest, where we had ventured into a truck stop, lo and behold, there were these two young lovlies trying to give this chip for free. They had their little stand set up in front of the entrance giving their sales pitch. I did try to explain some of the hazards, but to no avail. Again, these two did truly believe that they were doing the right thing.

9/11 seems to be the very thing that has brought this kind of stuff out as a needed item, so as not to lose our loved ones. What a shame! I could go on for hours, but won't, on this 9/11 subject.

Anyone interested in home school, try visiting homeschool.com or schooloftomorrow.com. Both have loads of info, and well worth the visit.
