War,

I have given up on the internet TV idea. Streaming or downloading large files is not going to do it since most do not have broadband, unfortunately...including me due to my location(s).

The idea was to have LIVE INTERNET TV. Not, something to be downloaded later that no one will look at. The idea was to utilize the different time zones throughout the world and making each country "prime time" with the ability to download the archives for later viewing.

The idea was to have every major group participating and thereby unifying us throughout the world with at least 168 groups espousing their viewpoints and problems 24/7. Double that with 1/2 hour time slots each week.

It is too expensive for real TV.

It is too expensive with large band carriers that will charge about $3,500 an hour.

The idea was not to do an information source. It was to unify. Yes, the premise would be to "inform," but it would not have mattered if the internet TV shows would have succeeded. What was necessary and still is, is to unify us in one location...

Our plan was to use the S.E.T.I. principle to borrow and utilize the bandwidth and computer resources of all the viewers and volunteers. It turned out to be too expensive and cumbersome.

If anyone knows of a way to utilize the S.E.T.I. principle along with existing interent TV technology, let me know. But, it must be live and have the ability for live telephone interaction with the viewers. The telephone interaction can be VOIP or regular telephone lines and we must be able to use off the shelf video cams (not pc cams) so that our group can afford to do this. We have a central server. We just can't overcome the bandwidth problems. For example, if I sent something out on a 56k modem and it is running at peak, the most I can have viewing is two people (about 1/2 of 50k). This increases considerably with a T1 line, but does not solve the problem of literally thousands viewing at the same time...not to mention the archives being searched and downloaded...

I appreciate you thinking of me, Wargames, but my intention is not so much the content, but the ability to organize and to unify...by using current information to get the masses interested and a one central source to get the leaders together with a common cause to disrupt our various contries with peaceful demonstrations, letter writing campaigns and etc. to change the world.

We have the best legal laws, Constitutionally approved, ready to be put into practice. It is merely the need to organize the groups into action in order to implement what is already...ready.
