MY fellow bits, television is a tool, like cutlery, they are designed ONLY to accomplish a job.
the Tool (in this case, tv) gets it's character from the user and the programmers and developers of tv shows.
For myself, there is crap and there is edifying programming available and we control what we watch.

the tv and the gun are both tools. that is all they are.
