Birth Certificate for Children

As my name says, I am just starting out learning the process of redemption.& However, I don't want my children to have to go through the process.& That being said, I am pregnant with our 4th child.& Is it still considered a legal form of documentation to just use the family bible entry to prove birth?& Everything I read in my State's laws says that you have to have/apply for (whatever the techincal term is there)&a birth certificate.& We never did for our third child and are wondering with that one too - what do we do??? Our first two, unfortunatley, are in the system.

Also, if they do not have certificates, but we are not redeemed yet, are they still considered wards of the state?

Oh, so many questions!!!!
