As for the SSN problem, maybe you could form more than one LLC and possibly use the first LLC EIN to get started on the second. I don't know if that would work although this I believe is how the big boys do it (or used to do it). This could at least setup multiple levels which would be more difficult to get back at you. Outside of getting a second SSN (which is probably illegal) I don't know what else you might do.

if the remote box is "/dev/null" then why would you want anything from it, since everything you do want would know your trueAddress?
