I have read somewhere on the internet amongst all those websites including the irs ones that if you do not sign the return you will be fined a penalty or charged with some ridiculous act.

Of couse like rentiac said they won't sign so why should we. Is there any legal case or statute here at Sui Juris or else where that tells us of what will happen if we file but not sign the return?
