The money changers have been fraudsters since before the time of Christ.
What would Jesus do?
Jesus chased those sonsabitches outa the temple.
When Gliha shows people how to avoid/ minimize their losses at the hands of the money changers, he is only showing them defensive moves.
Even if Gliha proved that his methods work, these scornful money changer protagonists would find some other reason to scorn Gliha.
Give to Caesar what is Caesar ‘s?
Well, is it Caesar’s if the money is made in a printing press in North Korea?
Is it Caesar’s if it is made in a printing press in America and given to people in exchange for their hard labor and products?
Jesus did not say “Give to Caesar interest on the money that he printed up on a printing even though you have no access to it"
I have deleted some tasty parts here so that politically correct anonymous Demo will not suspend me from this forum as he/she has done previously.
The honest guy/ worker hasn't got a chance.
The history of these United States has been the history of city people/ money changers trying to extract money from other folks.
It started with voluntary things such as lending, load sharking, drug dealing, extortion.
Now the military/ industrial/ government/ prison/ jail/ insurance complex exploits all manner of involuntary schemes such as mandatory car insurance, outrageous permit fees to build a building, outrageous fees to earn a living at a profession/ trade, prison and jail terms for newly invented crimes, etc.
Gambling, once recognized as a vice, is now the savior of the Indians - and any states who would like to eliminate their sales tax.
Wserra and most of the tax/ money industry munchkins on this site (including lawyers who don’t actually try cases for actual humans - or any person) grew up admiring and watching the action of the concept of screwing people by ever changing money scheme and fees.
A few of us grew up admiring and watching people earn money from farming, labor, actual industry, etc.
Early in the 1900s there was the model that you earned money and saved it in the bank. Then the bank loaned it out and made sufficient interest on their low single digit interest rate to share a bit of the profit by paying you an interest on your deposit.
While the universities taught us this fantasy even through the 1970's, those in the know knew that it was a lie.
After world war I there was a general era of good times known as the roaring twenties. Of course, this time was not good for the thousands of young men who were killed in World War I, but they were forgotten.
Meanwhile the money changers learned new tricks about how to screw people in the stock market. Previously after the civil war they learned how to water down railroad stock and otherwise do disappearing tricks. This was called the Credit Mobilier Scandal.
Now in the Roaring Twenties the money changers learned how to sell stock NOT on the basis of its book value but on the basis of what the market would bear. The stockholders were happy to go along with this plan, which was nothing new. The carrot for them was than the new players would pay 10 or 100 times what the early players paid for the same identical share of stock.
Then this house of card fell in October 1929.
The farmers suffered most. Ironically, farmers were folks who played the old fashioned interest game. They cleared their debts at harvest time every year. They did not bother to watch and learn the tricks of the money changers.
My Gramma lost her account at Union Bank in Streator, Illinois. My friend from 4-H and the University of Illinois is the President of the Bank now - and every year my brother borrows money from the bank in order to plant seeds. The bank says that they have been there for us for 125 years. That is a bold lie! They lost our deposits during the depression and were permitted to stay in business by hooking up with the life line to the federal reserve.
By comparison the tiny banks who played by the economic model went out of business. The small bank in my home town is now a flower shop. They continue to have the bank name formed in concrete on the front of the building. The bank vault has not stored money there since 1934. There is a new bank across the street. Strangely they have a teeny tiny vault. There is no longer any need to actually save real money locally. It is all done on paper by fraudsters who know all the tricks.
The big credit card companies can tap into the Federal Reserve. You can’t do that. Oh sure, you can borrow from the bank - as long as you can prove that you don’t really need it. My Mom’s Dad died leaving two farms paid for. 520 acres of good black farm land, all tillable. He did not borrow money from a bank. He borrowed from Tom Kuhn. I don’t know where Tom Kuhn got the money, but my point is this: Americans do NOT have access to the funds from the federal reserve any more than American have access to the whores run by the pimps. The fraudsters/ banksters/ money changers have access to the federal reserve credit. American must see the pimp to borrow the money - and only by paying the pimp do they have access to the funds.
So when Gliha says that he helps people screw the pimp/ money changers, well I don’t see that as a bad thing. However, those who grew up with a vested interest in changing money and screwing the actual producers/ farmers/ workers in this country, well I can see why they may be a tad scornful.
People are not interested in hearing about the military industrial complex but just last week Halliburton got a fat no-bid contract to rebuild something or other. In American the growth industries all benefit from games forced on us by the government: the prison industry, insurance, inflated/ bastardized housing finance (subsidized by tax breaks), the war machine, etc.
The governments of the United States and North Korea can buy what they need by printing dollars. The United States goes through an elaborate lie about lending the dollars into existence. North Korea is not so pretentious. They simply deny that their government owns the printing presses that print passable realistic counterfeit American dollars.
The credit card companies have access to the fed which in turn has access to the printing presses. Gliha simply says: Hey, you are dealing with crooks. Make them work a little harder. Let them go after somebody who still has energy to fight these sonsabitches.
Money is as money does. If Gliha has prevent the money changers from bleeding some worker bee, well I can't see much wrong with that. It is not like this was money saved up by worker bees. No. It was money accessed from the fed. They in turn printed it up - or they got it in diplomatic pouches at the Korean embassy.
You gotta ask yourself why Wserra comes down so hard on a person who would diminish profit for the money changers.
This spake Lawyerdude and further he sayeth nought.
