Would there be any other way to procure a land patent for "unregistered" BLM land? If the gov't claims ownership, then there would have to be evidence of title or patent, correct?

Ice made the comment about lands having an original patent number - what about land that has never been property? Is there a patent system for those, too?

I'm curious to know how one could take Alloidal title to BLM land. It is called the "Bureau of Land Management". By it's very title the office only has stewardship of the lands. Besides, if possession doesn't convey ownership in regard to our homes (Real Estate), the same must be true of the gov't, I suppose.
