what is the benefit of getting it from a priave dealer then if you still have to register it just like as if you bought it at the store
I'm going out on a limb here. The private dealer is no different than the brick and mortar dealer in that both are running a business. Now, if your neighbor has a gun you want, and is willing to sell it to you then, you would have place not to register it, but if your neighbor has already registered it then, it becomes a matter of state jurisdiction.
