If you will recall, yesterday's devotional was entitled, You're Coming Out Of This! While going through the yesterday's activities, the Lord began to deal with me on this matter. He began to speak to me about the worry, wonder and lack of faith some Christians are dealing with. Although they believe things will get better one day, they do not believe it will happen anytime soon. Are you that person? As a result of this spiritual inpartation, today you are receiving part two of yesterday's devotional. Since your situation has not changed for awhile, have you become consumed with the thoughts that this is how it will always be? Maybe you are working on a job you really would love to leave, or in a relationship that has since expired, or experiencing financial hardships that have not gotten better.
This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you. No matter what your current situation is, God is still greater. How is it we can believe God for someone else's breakthrough, but when it comes to our own personal breakthrough we doubt it can happen? How is it we can fast and pray for someone else's healing, but we give in to the doctor's report about our health? How is it we can prophesy to someone else about greatness but fail to speak into our own lives about greatness? How is it we can see God moving in someone else's life but fail to see Him moving in our own lives? (Just some questions I often think about.) My friend, You Either Believe Or You Do Not! The Bible declares in Hebrews 11:6 - But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
My brother, my sister, if you can believe God for someone else, it is time for you to believe God for yourself. God is not bias. He does not favor so-and-so over you. Read Romans 2:11. He is a just God and He also loves you. Beloved, You Either Believe Or You Do Not! You either believe God is able to fix it or you do not. You either believe God is mightier than satan or you do not. You either believe you are coming out of this or you do not. After hearing from the Lord I came to the conclusion that I cannot make anyone believe. It is time for you to believe in the Word of God for yourself. It is time for you to believe God will stand by His promises. I believe ... do you? The Bible declares in Matthew 16:13-16 - When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? 14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
